Ward 17 Block Club Schedule:Following are block clubs serving neighborhoods in Ward 17. Bridge Brigade meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. Serves the area from W. 52nd to W. 58th St., Franklin Ave. to Lorain Ave. For meeting location, call 961-4242. Bridge Watchers meets the last Wednesday of every month at 7pm at 1918 W65th at Calvary Reform church. This block club serves W.58th to W.69th, Franklin to Fir. Franklin Wakefield meets the third Wednesday of every month at 7pm at 7200 Franklin Blvd, Cogswell Hall. This block club serves area W.65th to W.79th from Franklin to Wakefield Lorain to Fir meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at 2025 W65th, Colman Court Community Room. This block club serves W.58th to W.65th, Lorain to Fir. North End meets the last Monday of every month at 6:30pm at West Bethel Church 5207 Franklin Blvd.. The block club serves the area from W.50th to W.57th, Detroit to Bridge. North Shore Neighbors meets the second Thursday of the month in the DSCDO atrium. The block club serves W.45th to W.64th from Lake Erie to Detroit. West Clinton meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm. at Bethany Presbyterian Church-6415 W. Clinton Ave. The block club serves W.58th to W.74th West Clinton, W.58th and W.74th between Detroit and Franklin Urbanteers meets the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at People's Hope Methodist Church, corner of W.65th and Bridge Ave. The Urbanteers serves the area from W.65th to W.80th from Madison to Lorain. West 65th to West 70th block club the second Tuesday, every other month at 7:00p.m. in the DSCDO atrium.(meets Jan. ,Mar., May, July, Sept., Nov.) The block club serves the area from W.65th to W.70th, North of Detroit. West Eighties block club meets the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Walz branch library 7910 Detroit. This block club serves the area from W.80th to W.85th, from Lake to Franklin. West End block club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm 8218 Lorain at the Lorain Branch library. This block club serves the area from W.81th to W.85th, from Lorain to Madison West 76th Street Area block club meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of the month.
